Here’s the first volume of famous synth sounds for the Korg Kronos. Hopefully, there will be others, but there’s no guarantee. These were created primarily from scratch largely using the powerful AL-1 virtual analog engine on the Kronos.
I want to acknowledge the useful information I derived from Mitchell Sigman’s book “Steal this Sound” as well as the programs found in the OP-X Pro soft synth by SonicProjects. For most of the sounds, I was able to find drum tracks that fit the song and tempo. You can use these for practice or performances. Please read through the performance notes (found in the ZIP file) when available as they make sense of how I intended the programs to be played. If no performance notes are available, the program should be played straight up.

Could someone please post the steps for installing these sounds once they are downloaded?
ReplyDeleteDownload the zip archive in your computer, >>> unzip the file with extension .PCG in a USB pendrive memory, >> plug the pendrive in an USB socket in the rear of Kronos, >> Go to Disk Mode, in the bottom center of screen select disk, from "HD internal" selected, go to select the USB pendrive disk detected >> you will see a list with the files that you downloaded in the pendrive, >> select "Famous Synth Sounds V1. PCG" and press button "Open" in the screen a few times 'till you see a list of the 64 programs in the PCG file. >>> In this way you will test each sound (with the funcionality of all switches and knobs) without load it into the Kronos, >>> When you like one or various sounds can load it in the some internal user memory of Kronos. Regards.
DeleteThank You Very Much William. Excellent Sounds.!!!
